Arkley Avenue and Dowie Drive are two Senior Living developments located in Claymore, southwest Sydney. The projects comprise 35 units at Arkley Avenue and 20 units at Dowie Drive, both with elevator access, secure basement carparking and storage.
The units are designed to provide comfortable, high quality living spaces for senior residents, that are easy to maintain and have low life-cycle costs.
These projects form part of the long-term renewal of the Claymore public housing estate to create a sustainable, mixed community and help meet the increasing demand for social housing in the Campbelltown district.
MBB Group was engaged by NSW Land & Housing Corporation to provide project management services for the construction stages of these two projects to ensure compliance with Client requirements, Local Council Development Plans, Development Conditions and Building Standards. Our role involved managing multiple stakeholders, negotiating with Authorities, coordinating services, mitigating risks and resolving compliance issues.
This project was managed and delivered during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and faced numerous additional challenges due to Government restrictions. Handover took place in March and July 2020.
